Welcome to 101 Driver TrainingWhere confidence and competence are achieved through personalised training! Our driving instructor has been a government Accredited and Authorised examiner for more than 20 years. If you feel confident and experienced behind the wheel already, you can prepare for the driving test (VORT). It's a quicker way to obtain your licence. But if you are a very nervous learner, you can choose the path of the Competency Based Training and Assessment (CBT&A). It's a more comprehensive training which requires longer time. However, this option will be withdrawn by the government in early 2027. Whichever way you choose, you will learn to drive in a safe, supportive and enjoyable environment and at your own learning pace. Driving lessons (automatic car only) can be booked for the following days and time:Monday - Thursday: 9:30 AM to 5:00 PMFriday: ClosedSaturday and Sunday: 9:00 AM to 4.00 PMPublic holidays are closed.Please note: calls, texts and emails received outside operating hours may not be answered promptly. | Our rates:1 hour lesson: $125*1.5 hour lesson: $180*For Motor Driving Instructors (MDI) who want to book a driving test for their students, the fee is $250 including government booking fee. I can do the test at Tranmere. Your students can use either your dual control car or their car to do the test, as long as it is 100% roadworthy. Please contact me for more details. The Department of Infrastructure and Transport is introducing the driver training and testing reform which will be in effect early 2027. When it kicks in, the government will withdraw the CBT&A option. There will only be the VORT option, conducted by a government examiner with a government car.
